Controls

The following controls mentioned are the default controls. You may change them in the Options Screen.

You may use the keyboard and/or mouse setups to play.

Keyboard controls

• Arrow keys or WASD keys: move vehicle
• Spacebar: shoot (hold down for continuous fire)
• 1, 2, 3 keys (above qwerty row, not on numpad): use cards (see below for details)
• Backslash ( \ ): select a card
• Backspace: discard the selected card

To move your vehicle, use the . To fire, press/hold the spacebar. Alternately, you can use the mouse to move and left-click to fire.

Mouse controls

• Move mouse: move vehicle
• Left-click: shoot (hold down for continuous fire)
• Mouse Wheel: select a card
• Right-click: use the selected card
• Middle-click: discard the selected card

Boosting

For a speed boost, hold down Shift. This will consume fuel. Don't overuse this ability; if you run out of fuel, health will gradually decrease.

In order to use a card, you need to have enough coins. The coin cost of using a card is displayed under the card's name. Press the 1, 2, or 3 keys in order to use the card in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions, respectively. For mouse controls, use the mouse wheel to select a card, then right-click to use the selected card.

Most cards have a usage time. This is the delay time from when you use a card until it actually takes effect. Special weapon cards have a very short or no delay. The stronger hazards tend to have the longest delay.

When your opponent uses a card, it will be displayed during the "delay time" regardless of whether or not you can see its cards. Use this knowledge to your advantage in order to prepare for devastating attacks or enemy swarms.
