Combo System
When you kill 2 or more enemies in quick succession, you perform a combo (it does not matter that the enemies are identical). At the end of a combo, enemies are spawned on your opponent's side, depending on the size of the combo.
A 2-combo will only spawn 1 zombie on the other side. Higher combos will produce more difficult and plentiful enemies.
This combo system takes effect for both players.
Scoring System
Each enemy has a base score value. For each enemy killed in a combo, a 10% bonus is added to its base score value per combo amount. The order in which enemies are killed matters.
The 1st enemy killed in a combo is worth the base amount, the 2nd enemy is worth the base amount plus 10%, the 3rd enemy is worth the base amount plus 20%, and so on.
Example 1: 2 zombies (30 pts) killed in a combo = 30 (base) + 33 (+10% bonus) = 63 pts
Example 2: 1 zombie (30 pts) and 1 Q-virus (40 pts) = 30 (base) + 44 (+10% bonus) = 74 pts
Example 3: 1 Q-virus, 1 zombie, and another zombie = 40 (base) + 33 (+10% bonus) + 36 (+20% bonus) = 109 pts
Your score for the current match will determine the number of upgrade points you receive at the end of the match.
Permanent bonuses
There are bonuses applied at the beginning of the round for total (cumulative) points acquired:
- 50,000
- 500,000 and
- 5,000,000 points: shot size +1 permanently
- 100,000
- 1,000,000 and
- 10,000,000 points: shot quantity +1 permanently
Icons will appear next to your total score when you have these bonuses.
